Public comment period on draft fracking regs gets underway today

Good Morning.

The starter's flag has dropped for the public comment period on the state's proposed regulations to govern High Volume Hydraulic Fracturing. Read the fine print in the side bars for the address to send written submissions to, or apparently you can email. Still no sign of the health review.

As Matt Richmond observed yesterday, State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has indicated that he's preparing a case against the EPA over the agency's monitoring of methane emissions from the oil and gas industry. (Innovation Trail and timesunsion.com)
