This weekend on New York NOW: Niagara Falls needs help

Niagara Falls attracts more than 8 million people every year, making it the most visited state park in the country.

But despite its draw to tourists, downtown Niagara Falls is filled with vacant store fronts and empty streets.

This weekend on New York NOW, we'll explore what local officials are doing to try to revitalize one of the country's most beloved destinations.

The Innovation Trail's Buffalo reporter, Daniel Robison of WNED, also weighs in for the show. He'll talk about why the city is perceived by some as "desperate."
